Initial rehearsals
Hello again,
Thanks for your patience and attention during the first read-throughs of the script and music. Our next rehearsals will attempt to pencil in broad strokes which will set the outline for the show. As we advance we'll work to sharpen and clarify that image, adding in details. For example, the show is now cast, but we don't have all the parts assigned yet; some of you will be immigrants at the beginning, some at the end, and some not at all (guards? recruiters? greeters?) but we're determining those points now and in the next week. Bear with us, stay positive, you're in good hands.
Q: How many actors does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer1: Five-- one to climb the ladder and the other four to say that should have been me!
Answer2: Just one. He stands there, and the world revolves around him.
