Theatre JM

Here are some long overdue updates:

1. Theatre JM is now an after-school club meeting on Thursdays in my room. All are welcome, see me if questions. Our current project is a modified version of TMLMTBGB as a fund-raiser and wonderful chance to great our own show.

2. No fall musical, obviously, due to my schedule difficulties juggling three preps this fall, one of them the new year long AP Lit. Winter musical not possible due to heavy music department schedules, Spring musical not possible due to heavy conflicts and band tour during our typical performance weekend.

3. Budget slashed - from three shows two years ago, two shows last year, and now down to one show a year. Sigh. Hat tip to Sam May for a detailed article and advocacy in the Post Bulletin.

4. Good news: lots of recent alum are active in theatre in college and staying in touch; we'll be looking at a workshop schedule for the after-school club to bring some in (contact me if interested!).
