Talent Show

The talent show desperately needs acts. Auditions are on Thursday only.

Consider doing a skit!! I can help (or contact Bobby). Even a monologue, well-delivered, would be pretty cool. A shakespearean sonnet?

Someone in 7th period suggested a satire. . . hmmm. . .maybe a speech extolling the virtues of a John Marshall education? remodel, lack of air conditioning, cell phone policy (or coats), homework load, tues/thurs school, "ghetto" rep. . . hmmm. . .

update

Glass Menagerie at Guthrie today. I woke up for the last 1/3:(

Yeah, I got too excited and stressed about the show and moved it up a week, but then, when the production team let me know that none of THEM knew about it either, it went back to original dates, Feb 13 and 14, with tentative call-backs on 15th.

Children's Theater Company stuff was posted in December, got 5 tix from the director Peter Rothstein, on February 21st,, via Carla Noack.

Four songs handed off to choreographer. Joel Stoehr, Set Designer Extraordinaire, will finish this year then retire. Crawled through Act Two. Wondering about "Cellular Fusion" - kind of a Bye Bye Birdie spread the word in the digital age new song. Some nice back-up singers and moments that aren't in the movie: getcha head in the game, after the lab/locker room "break-up" in the duet. Megamix in the musical??? 1 scene simultaneously in the theater, chem lab, and basketball court!! Magnolia, my 8 year old, says, "Good luck with that, Dad."
